Stinking Attitude of Contempt
By Dan
Crows, forgive me.
You don’t deserve to be compared with people with a dirty, stinking, rotten, ungrateful attitude full of contempt, disrespect, and a lack of appreciation.
What do you do if your spouse has that attitude?
Is it your fault?
- If you’re asking yourself this question, then it is probably not your fault.
- If you’re preaching without examining yourself, then it probably is your fault.
- But each person chooses to contribute good or bad to the family.
Whether you predict a good or bad future, you’re right.
Think About This:
Philippians 4:8 tells us what to think on:
Finally, brethren,
- whatsoever things are true,
- whatsoever things are honest,
- whatsoever things are just,
- whatsoever things are pure,
- whatsoever things are lovely,
- whatsoever things are of good report;
- if there be any virtue,
- and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
Caught Red Handed
Instead of catching your spouse doing something wrong, why not catch him or her doing something right?
- How many times have you caught your spouse doing a good thing well?
- How many times have you caught your spouse doing something loving?
- How many times have you caught your spouse doing something considerate?
What if that compels them to keep doing good?
What if your spouse treated you that way?
